I am truly passionate about food and believe in providing high quality, tasty food along with a superior customer service for my clients.
I try to give the host or hostess the chance to bring their own stamp to the menu they choose by creating a bespoke party for each one.
On arrival I encourage them to relax and let me take over; then when I leave it is as if I had never been there.

I pay attention to every little detail to make sure your event runs smoothly and you and your guests have a wonderful time. Your satisfaction is my business.
My food services are not limited to fine dining and seated dinners only, far from it; my cocktail and canapés parties, corporate event catering, weddings or buffets and BBQ parties are as equal too.

Highly accomplished chef with extensive experience
I was born in south west Scotland, where good, fresh food was an important part of my upbringing and helping with shooting lunches from an early age led to an unflappable demeanour and a real awareness of what is required by people hosting parties.
I like to diversify and enjoy learning new things. I have worked on several private yachts as the sole contracted chef in locations as ‘normal’ as Monte Carlo and Porto Cervo, Sardinia and as more unfamiliar as Vladivostok, Russia, Busan, South Korea and Subic in the Philippines travelling roughly 4000 miles at sea. A very different role but one which required different and varied skills as we travelled the world at the owners’ behest.
To source what the client may desire on a Sunday morning in the Mediterranean to cooking unusual seafoods literally off the back of the boat at little notice meant using my utmost resourcefulness and using the smattering of Russian, Chinese, Korean picked up to provision the boat led to some more unusual experiences – but ultimately led to a wider understanding of world cuisine.
I have worked with several catering companies, Nomad Food Flowers and Functions in Dorset, a country based catering company and Edible Food Design, in central London which was one of a select few to be on the Royal Tender. This is a particularly interesting part of my career running events and cooking in various Royal Palaces around London and the Home Counties.
One of my great loves is skiing and so I have taken the opportunity to work for some of the top boutique ski companies over five winter seasons in the Alps. Finding and cooking the local produce for hungry guests was a very memorable time in my life, linking my two passions was exhilarating.
